Data service interrupted during Hardware Failover event

Issue

  • Unexpected failover event is reported.
  • Takeover is confirmed as completed.
  • Data service is interrupted for some of the interfaces with the system in takeover.
  • Data service is restored only after boot up and giveback of down node is performed.
  • EMS logs (after giveback) of the affected node show the following messages related to Broadcast Domains and Failover Targets availability:

Thu Oct 12 01:06:46 +0200 [Cluster-01-01: vifmgr: vifmgr.lifdown.noports:alert]: LIF lnode_01-lif_01 (on virtual server 6), IP address 123.123.123.123, currently cannot be hosted on node Cluster-01-01, port a0a-1716, or any of its failover targets, and is being marked as down.
