Cannot clone volume reason: Snapshot not found

Issue

  • Clone create  from the CLI fails:  

Cluster::*> volume clone create -vserver svm1 -flexclone <clone_vol_name> -type RW -parent-volume <parent_vol_name>
 Error: command failed: [Job 25776] Job failed: Failed to create the clone volume on node. Reason: The snapshot name does not exist.

  •  From CLI try to create a manual snapshot and there are no errors,  but there are no snapshots for the volume.

Cluster::*> snapshot create -vserver svm1 -volume volume1 -snapshot test

Cluster::*> snapshot show -vserver svm1 -volume volume1
There are no entries matching your query.

  • EMS:
