Answer

  • No this behavior is not supported.
  • Even if the latest BIOS image file is downloaded to ONTAP in advance, during the ANDU (Automated Non-Disruptive Upgrade) process, the BIOS will only be upgraded to the version bundled with ONTAP and will not be updated to the latest version.
