Applies to

  • ONTAP 9
  • Advanced Drive Partitioning (ADP)
  • SSD

Issue

  • The disk partitions on the 24 disks in the external shelf that were allocated between node1 and node2 have been removed, and the resulting unpartitioned disks have been assigned to node1.
    • Before the replacement, node1 was assigned 24 SSDs (P1/P2) and Node 02 was assigned 24 SSDs (P3/P4).
    • After the replacement, node1 is assigned 24 unpartitioned SSDs from the external shelf.
  • All these disks are spare, so there is no impact on the customer.
