Applies to

  • ONTAP 9
  • Autonomous Ransomware Protection (ARP)

Issue

Customers may observe that an ARP Snapshot is created during one ransomware alert event but is not created during a subsequent alert event.
Example behavior:
  • An ARP Snapshot is created when a ransomware alert is generated.
  • A later ransomware alert does not create an additional ARP Snapshot.
  • This may be interpreted as inconsistent Snapshot creation behavior.
