The Event Management System (EMS) provides the ability to configure an external syslog server that will receive events.
The transport protocols supported are:

  • UDP
  • Encrypted TCP
  • Unencrypted TCP

When using TCP, it is required that a newline character separate consecutive events. If this character is missing the syslog events may be dropped.
This can affect the following features:
  • Encrypted TCP
  • Unencrypted TCP
