Issue

  • ONTAP supports the use of Fast Bind
  • Even with Fast Bind enabled, ONTAP still searches LDAP (Active Directory) for Unix attributes
  • This request is to allow LDAP to be configured for Active Directory connections while not requiring Unix attributes
