Issue

On a mixed-version ONTAP cluster, changing external key manager TLS verification settings using security key-manager external modify or a REST PATCH request can succeed even when some nodes do not support the settings.
This can cause nodes to apply certificate, hostname, or IP address verification inconsistently. Nodes enforcing verification might be unable to connect to the external key server.
