Issue

  • Systems might display the following EMS message due to drive failure:
    [node1: disk.ioMediumError:notice]: Medium error on disk 2b.05.13: op 0x28:87a50ff8:0100 sector 4294967295 SCSI:medium error - Unrecovered read error - If the disk is in a RAID group, the subsystem will attempt to reconstruct unreadable data (3 11 2 0)

  • Improvement to drive firmware to improve product reliabilty and may avoid premature failure
