Issue

Pre-conditions

  • Automatic Firmware Update enabled
  • AutoSupport enabled
  • AutoSupport configured with a HTTPS proxy

Problem
The AutoUpdate download phase of the firmware package fails. The following message is seen in the AutoSupport MGWD.gz section:
[kern_mgwd:info:...] ... ERR: au_downloader_libcurl: do_download:src/core/downloader_impl_libcurl.cc:112 download failed after 110 ms, trans_id {...} retry needed: no, curl (60) http (0) (SSL peer certificate or SSH remote key was not OK : SSL certificate problem: self-signed certificate in certificate chain)
