Issue

  • A FlexCache cache volume that is offline for an extended period of time causes an outage or slowness.
  • This takes the form of:
  • "Share is not accessible. You might not have permissions to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of server to find out if you have access permissions."
  • High NFS rewinds for Session Send on the FlexCache Cache cluster and Session Recieve on the FlexCache origin cluster.
  • Extremely high latency.
If access to the volume is not frequent, this issue may take days, weeks, or months to occur.
