Issue

  • EMS shows IO card degraded due to temperature not readable:
    Mon Jun 30 08:08:18 -0700 [Node01: env_mgr: monitor.ioCard.degraded:alert]: IO card is degraded: IO6 400G P1 Temp is not readable
    Mon Jun 30 08:08:18 -0700 [Node01: env_mgr: monitor.ioCard.degraded:alert]: IO card is degraded: IO11 400G P1 Temp is not readable
    Mon Jun 30 08:08:18 -0700 [Node01: env_mgr: monitor.ioCard.degraded:alert]: IO card is degraded: IO6 400G P2 Temp is not readable
    Mon Jun 30 08:08:18 -0700 [Node01: env_mgr: monitor.ioCard.degraded:alert]: IO card is degraded: IO11 400G P2 Temp is not readable

  • Ports called out in the EMS string are using supported X65405 QSFP parts.
  • Issue not resolved by BMC reboot.
  • Issue not resolved by node power cycle.
