CONTAP-490324: Unexpected node reboot on platforms using a T6-based NICs in MetroCluster IP

Issue

  • Platforms, using X1146A,  X91146A,  X1116A NICs or on-board T6-based NICs, can reboot unexpectedly in a MetroCluster IP environment 
  • SP/BMC logs show the T6-based NIC being unresponsive: 

create_cq - Device t6nex0 not responding after 59.999093 seconds - tid 0 qpid 0
destroy_cq - Device t6nex0 not responding after 59.999094 seconds - tid 0 qpid 0
create_cq - Device t6nex0 not responding after 300.019966 seconds - tid 0 qpid 0
destroy_cq - Device t6nex0 not responding after 300.019967 seconds - tid 0 qpid 0
....
PANIC: WAFL hung for aggr0. in SK process wafl_exempt21 on release 9.14.1P9 (C) on Thu Jun 26 20:45:18 CEST 2025
