Issue

  • Excessive CRC and symbol receive errors on Ethernet ports can cause a range of issues from poor port performance to system instability.
  • CRC and symbol errors are typically a physical connection issue between two ports, such as SFPs/QSFPs and or cables. Other reasons can be due to incompatible switch configurations.
  • The following is an example message of a system disruption:
