CONTAP-81479: Deletion of unreferenced objects after volume move cutover takes too long

Issue

  • When a volume move enters the post-cutover finishing phase, the volume and related metadata is removed from the source aggregate.
  • When a volume is moved between two FabricPools using the optimized path, this finishing phase also deletes unused tiered objects that were not transferred to the destination.
  • In some cases, this object deletion can take longer than expected and delay the completion of the volume move.
  • The move may appear stuck and give the error "Volume move is waiting for deletion of unreferenced objects to complete on the capacity tier" even though it is still progressing.
