Issue

  • Nodes running ONTAP 9.16.1P14 can experience system disruptions with a message similar to:
    PANIC:prod/common/wafl/multipart/multipart_attributes.cc:2601: Assertion failure. in SK process wafl_exempt02 on release 9.16.1P14 (C)


  
Exposure Conditions:
  • Any storage systems on 9.16.1P14 that has Granular Data enabled (basic or advanced) on a FlexGroup volume and interacts with multipart files. No other ONTAP releases are impacted.
