Issue

  • Increased write latency seen on MCC nodes running ONTAP 9.16.1P9. 
  • The latency spike coincides with long WAFL consistency points (CPs), specifically due to extended durations in the P2A_BM phase. 
  • The write latency spikes to 28–60 ms on MCC volumes coincident with aggregate snapshot create/delete alongside active volume snapshot schedules.
