Issue

  • After a panic matching CONTAP-493412 with following Panic String, A volume is left inconsistent upon reboot:
    Panic String: prod/common/wafl/s2c/s2c_read_dinode.c:550: Assertion failure. in SK process wafl_exempt11 on release 9.15.1P8 (C)


  • Trying to online the volume fails with:
    ::*> volume online vol1 -vserver svm1
    vol online: Error onlining volume "svm1:vol1". Unable to set volume attribute "state" for volume "vol1" on Vserver "svm1". Reason: Volume is inconsistent.
