CONTAP-52211: Lazy invalidation of inode pages corresponding to offline volumes might take too long and cause controller disruption

Issue

Node experienced the following symptoms:

  • NFS access issues 
  • High CPU utilization
  • Slow or unresponsive ONTAP CLI commands
  • Volumes hosted on the affected node were not accessible
  • EMS logs showed suppressed NFS long running operations and CSM errors

EMS Log:
[Node1: kernel: ems.engine.suppressed:debug]: Event 'Nblade.nfsLongRunningOp' suppressed 1 times in last 76985 seconds
[Node1: servercommonRPC: csm.mismatchRemoteDevice:error]: CSM connection between source LIF 899 and destination address 169.xxx.xxx.xxx might not be optimal for session 0005c5d603adf90e.
