Issue

  • ONTAP node reboots unexpectedly with error:
    CPLEDGER_CHECK_USED_BY_PLANE0 failed at CP [1568382, 1568382]: Volume delta 4252 != Inode/Bitmap delta 4256 Detected bitmap inconsistency on aggregate MyAggregate
  • After the takeover, the partner can serve data for a short time but then hit the same preconditions, leading to the same unexpected reboot of the ha-partner node, leading to a full ha-pair-downtime
  • error messages leading towards the unexpected reboot might show auto-grow to fail when not configured properly and recompression scanners complaining about not enough space:
