Issue

  • Amount of parallelism used to process writes to a single file (e.g. a LUN) is sub-optimal in some cases
  • This increases the amount of time taken to complete writes to the file
  • During periods of high workload, this can lead to back to back Consistency Points (B2B CP)
    • This will increase the write latency observed by client applications
