CONTAP-338262: Latency seen after a reboot when two volumes are on the same node with disks

Issue

  • Access issues are seen when users try to access two volumes (could be more), perhaps after an ONTAP upgrade or reboot
  • This lasts for a brief time, perhaps 30 minutes.
  • Example: Two volumes have CIFS VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) slowness and have high latency, but only at login time at Monday morning.
  • Latency is seen running qos statistics volume latency show in the Data column for one or both volumes, or other volumes.
  • All volumes involved are on the same node sharing disks (same dblade).
