  • WAFL frequently reporting low memory condition in EMS log as below:

[FsxId0000000000000000-01: raidio_thread: wafl.memory.statusLowMemory:notice]: WAFL is running low on memory, with 11004MB remaining.
[FsxId0000000000000000-01: wafl_ise_se_proc_1: wafl.memory.statusVeryLowMemory:alert]: WAFL is running very low on memory, with 7346MB remaining.

  • SnapMirror replication transfer encountered an out-of-memory error messages as below:

[FsxId0251394f7adf141a3-01: repl_Handle_enc: repl.out.of.memory:notice]: SnapMirror replication transfer encountered an out-of-memory error.
[FsxId0251394f7adf141a3-01: sm_logger_main: smc.snapmir.update.fail:error]: Snapmirror update from source volume svm1:vol1' to destination volume 'amazon-fsx-ontap-backup-us-east-2-xxxxxxx:/objstore/0a000000-0XXXXXX' failed with error 'Failed to get volume attributes for svm2:0XXXXXXXXX.(Filesystem error(Cannot allocate memory))'.
