CONTAP-258352: System is reporting that WAFL is running low on memory, which is followed by out-of-memory errors and slow SnapMirror transfers on FSx and CVO platforms
Issue
- WAFL frequently reporting low memory condition in EMS log as below:
[FsxId0000000000000000-01: raidio_thread: wafl.memory.statusLowMemory:notice]: WAFL is running low on memory, with 11004MB remaining.
[FsxId0000000000000000-01: wafl_ise_se_proc_1: wafl.memory.statusVeryLowMemory:alert]: WAFL is running very low on memory, with 7346MB remaining.
- SnapMirror replication transfer encountered an out-of-memory error messages as below:
