Partitions missing from spare pool due to 'unknown' state

Issue

  • After adding new shelves and disks to a MetroCluster IP system, the following symptoms were observed
  • All disks were visible in storage disk show, but partitions such as 1.12.18.P2, 1.12.18.P3, etc., appeared as “unknown”.
