Issue

  • The SnapMirror source cluster is running ONTAP 9.13.1RC1 through ONTAP 9.13.1P7
  • New and existing SnapMirrors report a Transferring status but no progress is made
  • Progress may report zero bytes or non-zero bytes but does not increment
  • No failures are observed in snapmirror show output or within SnapMirror-Audit logs
  • snapmirror abort works but restarting the transfer shows the same behavior
  • SnapMirror source node(s) report either of the following EMS messages:

wafl.memory.statusLowMemory:notice
wafl.memory.statusVeryLowMemory:alert
