Applies to

  • ONTAP 9
  • SVM Disaster Recovery (SVM DR)

Answer

  • No, It's not. The root volume of source SVM is not replicated to the destination by SVMDR.
  • The root volume of destination SVM can't be deleted. In fact, this is not a SVMDR requirement, an SVM must have a root volume, which is an ONTAP requirement.
