  • SVM DR
  • Memory exhaustion

Issue

  • Extremely slow SnapMirror transferring
  • All conditions on SnapMirror relationships hang in transferring on ONTAP 9.4 and later are true except for the following two conditions.
    • SnapMirror global replication throttles are disabled by viewing through the options replication.* command on the source cluster.
    • Rebooting the source node cannot resolve the issue.
      • NOTE: Although rebooting the source node cannot resolve the issue, the node panic will occur due to a virtual memory leak and an auto-generated core dump log can help to figure out the root cause.
