Issue

  • Creating a Reverse Resync Relationship for SVM DR on MCC as destination fails with:

snapmirror create -source-path SVM-Dest: -destination-path SVM-Source: -identity-preserve true -throttle unlimited -policy MirrorAllSnapshots
Error: command failed: The root volume of the destination Vserver still exists. Bring the root volume offline, delete it, and try the operation again.

  • This prevents SVM DR flip back to the MCC
