Cohesity backup for a volume failing with access denied error

Issue

  • While trying to perform backup using Cohesity Application the backup is failing with error

permission denied

  • Cohesity is using NFSv3 protocol to access volume using unix user "root"
  • Volume security style is NTFS, and it is set to read only.
  • Name mapping is configured for unix user "root" to local cifs user "Administrator"
