NDMP Backup Jobs Halted and Failing

Issue

  • NDMP backup jobs initiated from Commvault fail after running for an extended period and reports, NDMP_TIMEOUT_ERR and NDMP_DATA_HALT_INTERNAL_ERROR
  • NDMP logs show the backup session transitioning from ACTIVE to HALTING and eventually being ABORTED.
