Issue

  • The environment consists of two network subnet.
Example:
  • The Management LAN is 172.16.xx.xx, and each node's management LIF is connected to it.
  • The Backup LAN is 192.168.xx.xx, and an intercluster LIF is connected to it.
  • The backup server has an IP address on the Backup LAN subnet.
  • However, both the Backup server and ONTAP can communicate via both networks.
  • Although the preference is to use the Backup LAN, the NDMP backup transfers data using the Management LAN.
