Why are ONTAP System Manager data protection policies missing?

Answer

  • All policies/types in System Manager Classic were listed as part of drop down in protection view
  • Synchronous was not the option earlier

Workaround:

Follow snapmirror policy create route for Mirror type or vault type

Note: Documentation to create custom policies is in progress. 

Policies exist in snapmirror policy show from the CLI.
