Issue

  • The following event can be seen in the EMS log when Veeam backup is running:
    [Updating the VLDB "granular-data" property of volume "xxxx" with DSID "yyyy" to "disabled" failed. Reason: RPC: Timed out.]

  • The issue is intermittent, and can appear for multiple volume
  • The issue does not cause the corresponding backup to fail
