Issue

  • EMS.log (event management system (EMS)) shows error:

mgmtgwd.certificate.expiring: A digital certificate with Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) <digital certificate name>, Serial Number XXXXXXXX, Certificate Authority <UM-host> and type server-ca for Vserver <vserver name> will expire in the next XX day(s)

-OR-

mgmtgwd.certificate.expired: A digital certificate with Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) <UM-host>, Serial Number XXXXXXXX, Certificate Authority '<UM-host>' and type server-ca for Vserver <vserver name> has expired.

  • Trusted Certificate Authorities on Certificates screen in ONTAP System Manager (BlueXP Advanced View) shows Status for Server CA of <UM-host> is Expired or Expiration Date is approaching
