Answer

  • When a running job has not been completed, the number of subsequent jobs,execution time, and the schedule of the most recent job upon completion are calculated internally.
  • ONTAP then decides whether to execute the next job immediately after the current job is completed or to skip it and execute the following job.
  • The behavior will be one of the following:
    • The job is skipped, and the deduplication process will be executed at the next scheduled time.
    • The job is queued, and the next deduplication process will be executed immediately after the current deduplication process is completed.
