  • No,on AFF C-Series and ASA C-Series platforms, TSSE is always enabled and cannot be disabled.
  • However, TSSE only operates on thin-provisioned volumes.
  • Even on AFF C-Series, if the volume is thick-provisioned, the TSSE scanner may appear to run, but no compression or deduplication is performed.
  • This behavior is by design and not a defect.
