Issue

  • ONTAP Automated Nondisruptive Upgrade (ANDU) pre-update checks report the following warning message regarding Ethernet switch support:

The following Ethernet switch compatibility violations were found: [SWITCH S/N]: RCF version unknown. Supported RCF versions: Cluster-v1.13. [SWITCH S/N]: RCF version unknown. Supported RCF versions: Cluster-v1.13.

The following Ethernet switch compatibility violations were found:[SWITCH NAME]: Cannot determine compatibility for the switch model

  • No Switch Details reported in the AutoSupports
  • No RCF banner in the current switch configuration, when running:

(switch) # script list
(switch) # show clibanner
