Issue

  • Customer requested assistance to configure advanced password policy settings on newly deployed Cisco N9K-9336C-FX2 cluster switches (Example: minimum password length, aging, history, character classes, lockout attempts, etc.).
  • Only limited password policy options are available on these switches. Attempts to configure more granular password policies were unsuccessful.
