Post upgrade, Brocade switch is not booting with new firmware

Issue

Post performing the upgrade from v8.2.3 to v9.0.1d, FOS version shows older version instead of latest version.

firmwareshow -v shows that secondary partition has been upgraded to latest version whereas primary still shows the older version, and there is a warning which says firmwaredownload is in progress even though firmwaredownloadstatus shows Firmware has been downloaded.
