Issue

  • Following an abrupt site power outage Dell Servers do not see SAN boot LUN's using the iDrac - Emulex Adapter BIOS configuration screen.
  • ESXi host may show No boot device available or Operating System detected. Please ensure a compatible boot media is available.
  • Port Configuration Page SAN Discovery Target List for LPe35002-M2-D Port Name: 100000109BB8797E may show The Link is Up. No Targets Found.
  • Storage command ::> igroup show -instance shows the ESXi host Initiators are not logged in to storage.
  • Brocade #switchshow shows the port as a G-Port.
