Issue

Cold reboot observed on fixed-port switches during FOS firmware upgrade, resulting in traffic disruption.

Cause

  • A timing condition could cause the "HA Reboot" operation on a fixed port switch resulting a cold restart vs warm recovery.  
  • This issue could be observed during a daemon panic that is attempting graceful recovery using "HA Reboot"
