Brocade Switch periodical auto reboot after upgrade to FOS v8.2.3b

Issue

  • Brocade switch periodically rebooting post upgrading the FOS to v8.2.3b with below error messages observed under errdump logs.
 
2023/02/20-16:10:00, [HAM-1004], 346, CHASSIS, INFO, Brocade6510, Processor rebooted - Software Fault:Kernel Panic.
2023/02/20-16:47:59, [HAM-1004], 349, CHASSIS, INFO, Brocade6510, Processor rebooted - Reset.
2023/02/20-17:07:44, [HAM-1004], 364, CHASSIS, INFO, Brocade6510, Processor rebooted - Reboot @ 02202023-170635.
2023/02/20-17:32:57, [HAM-1007], 378, FFDC | CHASSIS, CRITICAL, Brocade6510, Need to reboot the system for recovery, reason: Software Bootup Failure:Bringup timed out.
2023/02/20-17:33:27, [HAM-1008], 382, FFDC | CHASSIS, CRITICAL, Brocade6510, Rebooting the system for recovery - auto-reboot is enabled.
2023/02/20-17:34:25, [HAM-1004], 386, CHASSIS, INFO, Brocade6510, Processor rebooted - Software Bootup Failure:Bringup timed out.
2023/02/20-17:59:35, [HAM-1007], 400, FFDC | CHASSIS, CRITICAL, Brocade6510, Need to reboot the system for recovery, reason: Software Bootup Failure:Bringup timed out.
2023/02/20-18:00:05, [HAM-1008], 404, FFDC | CHASSIS, CRITICAL, Brocade6510, Rebooting the system for recovery - auto-reboot is enabled.
2023/02/20-18:01:02, [HAM-1004], 408, CHASSIS, INFO, Brocade6510, Processor rebooted - Software Bootup Failure:Bringup timed out.
  • Switch is set to faulty as per below error message which is observed in RAS logs.

2023/02/20-16:16:16,[EM-1134], 509, FFDC | CHASSIS, ERROR, Brocade6510, Switch set to faulty,rc=20045.
