Faulty port in Brocade/Broadcom switch

Issue
- VMware corruption may occur with flapping switch port causing FC frame drops on target ports.
esxcli storage san fc events get
tail –f /var/log/vmkernel.log
- ONTAP events indicating instability in the FC conenction
event log show -event *fct* -time < 10m
- FC switch port is in an 'Offline' state:

- Link reset errors in the switch logs

- When plugging the SFP into a different port, it works as normal
- When plugging a known good SFP into this port, it does not work
- On the switch side, the SFP power range is abnormal:
RX Power: -2.4 dBm (571.4uW)
TX Power: -inf dBm (0.0 uW)
