E-Series Asynchronous mirrored pairing between two E-Series systems is slow

Issue

  • Asynchronous mirrored pairing from Primary site (Local) to Secondary site (Remote) is slow. 
  • Asynchronous mirrored pairing from Secondary (Remote) to Primary (Local) is normal.
  • When a resynchronization is attempted from SANtricity via System Manager > Storage > Asynchronous Mirroring, the following error is observed:

  • MEL might show the communication to the remote volume is intermittent:
