Answer

The copy statuses of volume copy pairs are as follows;
 
Status Description
Halted User request was received to stop an active copy process
Pending Copy request has been issued, but system resources do not allow the process to start
In Progress Copy process is in progress
Failed Failure was encountered during the copy process
Completed The entire extent of the source volume has been copied to the target volume

Note: The copy status can be confirmed by show volumeCopy command
