  • This article defines steps to reseat a drive drawer's SAS snake cable in a 60-drive storage enclosure
  • A 60-drive enclosure has 5 drawers
  • Each drawer uses two (2) SAS snake cables -- one at the right-hand side of the shelf and one at the left-hand side of the shelf
  • The below procedure shows the drawer's SAS snake cables from the rear end (right-hand side) of the drive shelf inside the chassis post
    • Removing the right fan canister as a demo ONLY
  • A quick 2-minute reseat of the cable (one side at a time) does not require any system downtime
