StorageGRID E4000 controller status changes to Failed Offline

Issue

  • E4000 controller status is Offline(Failed) and cannot be set online or powered up.
  • SANtricity System Manager or support data log reports the error of OFFLINE_CTL-Recovery Failure Type Code: 28
  • StorageGRID UI may report the following alerts: 
    • Storage appliance storage connectivity degraded: There is a problem with one or more connections between the compute controller and storage controller.
    • Appliance storage controller hardware issue: SANtricity software is reporting "Needs attention" for a component in a StorageGRID appliance.
