Issue

E-Series Thin Provisioned Volume repository becomes full even though automatic expansion is enabled. This causes the volume to be marked as Full and it becomes read-only.

Note: If a Virtual Machine (VM) disk resides in a read-only volume, this will cause the VM to be marked inaccessible and it will not be able to boot.
