Issue

  • After a power outage one of the Datastores showing “Not Consumed” and capacity as zero bytes from all ESXi hosts
  • The storage or volume is optimal and mapped with enough free space in it
  • Rescan of storage adapter and a reboot does not fix the issue
  • VMware is unable to mount the datastore with the following sense code:
    Sense Key [0x2] NOT READY
    04/0A LOGICAL UNIT NOT ACCESSIBLE, ASYMMETRIC ACCESS STATE TRANSITION
