Issue

  • Controller showing online in SANtricity System Manager, while the following errors are present:
 
NO_REDUNDANCY_TRAY-Recovery Failure Type Code: 33
Storage array: netapp1

Working channel: 1
 
DRAWER_DEGRADED-Recovery Failure Type Code: 393
Storage array: netapp1
Component reporting problem: Drawer 1
Status: Degraded
Location: Controller/Drive shelf 99
Component requiring service: Drawer 1
Service action (removal) allowed: No
Service action LED on component: No
 
  • When checking the 7-Segment display on the back of the controller it is showing OS OL (05 OL), which means Operational State Offline
  • When trying to place the controller online or reboot it Controller is in a state it cannot be rebooted error appears in SANtricity System Manager
